Fantasy Amusement Park
Chapter 75: The door of the kingdom of happiness is open to you!

【Welcome to the Nightmare live broadcast room, the next live broadcast will start soon!】

【Our aim is to entertain to death!】

Wen Jianyan opened his eyes amidst the laughter.

This was a spacious square, filled with childish and cheerful music that was echoing in his ears. There were sweet smells in the air. Candy smell, popcorn smell, and the smell of freshly baked pastries… all kinds of sweet smells were mixed together, bringing back memories of happy times in childhood.

There were many cute figures dressed in suits standing on the square. Some of them had strings of colorful balloons in their hands, and some were pushing exquisite small carts containing various snacks and toys.

Not far away was a huge amusement park gate.

Colorful ribbons and balloons hang on it, bringing out three big words between them.

[Fantasy Amusement Park]

But Wen Jianyan realized that all the laughter came from loudspeakers placed in various places in the square. In fact, all the tourists in the square looked serious and solemn, standing vigilantly in place and observing their surroundings.

——All were anchors, no NPC.

Wen Jianyan quickly came to a conclusion.

“All the little friends and big friends, welcome to the Fantasy Amusement Park!” A passionate voice sounded.

Everyone looked in the direction of the sound.

“Hi everyone, I’m the mascot here, Ribbit!”

A potbellied figure in a green frog suit appeared in front of everyone.

“Congratulations to everyone who was lucky enough to get a one-day tour ticket to the FantasyAmusement Park! The door to the kingdom of happiness is open to you, and I hope you can have a pleasant day here!”

As it spoke, it magically took out a red horn from its pocket and blew twice. The confetti flew out from the horn, shining beautifully under the light.

But the “big friends” in front of it didn’t seem to be pleased. The few anchors standing at the front reflexively jumped back, far away from the paper pieces floating in the air, for fear of being stuck to the place.

The barrage area of the instance “Fantasy Amusement Park” became lively:

[After such a long time, the instance “Fantasy Amusement Park” is finally open again! Old fans are excited!]

[Have a pleasant day? Damn, these words!]

[Hahahahahahaha Isn’t it?! This is an A-level instance, everyone is not a newcomer now, how can they not know the routines of these instances!]

[However, the quality of the anchor this time seems to be poor. I don’t know how a D-level anchor got mixed in with them. I bet this wave will be wiped out.]

Mr. Ribbit didn’t seem disappointed by the indifference of the anchors in front of itself. It put the horn back into its pocket, waved at everyone, and walked toward the map at the entrance of the park:

“Come on! Let me introduce it to you!”

The anchors cautiously followed.

The gate of the amusement park was open, and one could see all kinds of colorful amusement equipment inside, which was particularly joyful against the background of balloons and flowers.

There were also some tourists who seemed to be NPCs inside. They look relaxed and happy, holding various snacks and dolls in their arms.

“We have three theme parks here. If you want to visit the fairy tale town and watch plush doll performances and interactions, you can go to the kid’s zone on the east side. If you want to see traditional amusement park items, such as carousels, rotating teacups, Ferris wheel, mirror maze, etc., you can go to the leisure zone on the south side.”

Mr. Ribbit lively introduced the map of the park to the anchors:

“Of course, if you want to experience thriller, you can go to the thriller zone on the west side. There are big pendulums, roller coasters, haunted houses, and pirate ships. They will definitely meet everyone’s needs!”

After introducing the three themes in the park, Mr. Ribbit opened its arms and turned around:

“And here is the North Square of our amusement park, and there is a gift shop over there. You can use the gift coupons to buy the various items you want by yourself later!”

The whole introduction process was very fast. The tone of the mascot, Mr. Ribbit, was always cheerful and cute, and the content was not inappropriate in the slightest.

It was just like an ordinary amusement park.

However, this made the anchors more vigilant.

No one knew better than them; the less abnormal it looked, the more abnormal it was.

“Okay, okay, everyone, come to me in line to get the necessary items used in the park!”

Mr. Ribbit clapped its hands and said cheerfully: “After receiving them, everyone can move around freely and play happily!”

The anchors obediently lined up and walked forward one after another.

Wen Jianyan stood in the middle of the line and walked forward slowly.

He took out his phone, opened the Nightmare app, and glanced at it.

The information about the “Identity Card” was empty, and the initial survival time had not yet been allocated.

Wen Jianyan stuffed the phone back into his pocket, glanced at the crowd in the square without any trace, and made a rough estimate in his heart — there should be at least a hundred anchors in this instance, maybe even more.

Wen Jianyan couldn’t help but secretly be startled in his heart.

This was the first time he had experienced such a large instance with an open map and multiple anchors. Everything was very unclear, which made him more cautious.

Soon, Wen Jianyan was at the front of the line.

He was just a few steps away from the green mascot named Mr. Ribbit.

Wen Jianyan raised his eyes and looked at it carefully.

The figure’s headgear made of velvet looked well-made, and the soft plush coat was slightly wrinkled as it moved. It was hard to tell whether the staff under the headgear was human or a ghost.

It was Wen Jianyan’s turn.

He stepped forward and took three things from the other party’s hand without changing his expression.

Twenty fantasy coupons with a value of 5, a thin and blank notebook, and a folded map of the park.

The moment he received the item, the system’s familiar voice sounded in his mind:

【Welcome anchor to the A-level instance “Fantasy Amusement Park”. This instance is an open non-time-limited instance!】

Non-time-limited instance?!

Wen Jianyan was taken aback.

The three instances he experienced before were all time-limited instances, but this time he was suddenly assigned a non-time-limited instance, which made it difficult for him to adapt for a while.

【After completing the main task, the anchor can clear the level.】

Wen Jianyan took out his phone and glanced at the Nightmare app. The identity card was updated, but this time the instance did not assign him any new identity but used his name and age directly.

【Identity Card】

Name: Wen Jianyan
Age: 24
Occupation: Signed anchor of the Nightmare Live Broadcast Room.
Related Plot: Since you won a ticket for a one-day trip to Fantasy Amusement Park in a lottery, you decide to take a day out to visit the amusement park.

【Survival time allocation completed.】

The blood-red countdown begins:

【3:00:00】

【Main line task: experience five amusement park items】

Wen Jianyan thoughtfully put the phone back in his pocket.

At this moment, Mr. Ribbit in front had already distributed all the things. It spoke again and said to the anchors: “Everyone should have gotten coupons with a total value of 100 by now. No cash is charged in Fantasy Amusement Park. No matter whether you want to buy things, food, or play, you need to spend coupons!”

Wen Jianyan narrowed his eyes.

So it was like this.

Although this was not a time-limited instance and the main task seemed to be very simple, in fact, the customs clearance conditions were very strict.

First of all, the basic mechanism of survival time had not been canceled.

Therefore, the anchor still needed to use the points to redeem the survival time to ensure that he had time to experience the five amusement park items.

Secondly, there were gift areas and food areas in this instance. Wen Jianyan didn’t think these settings were worthless.

The number of coupons in each person’s hand was fixed. It was impossible for the anchor to spend such precious coupons to buy “food” or “amusement park items”. Then, these consumption items must have their own purposes. Wen Jianyan was sure that in the later stage, the anchors would definitely be forced to consume these coupons.

What would happen if the amount of consumption was too large and there were no coupons left to buy tickets for the five items…

Wen Jianyan glanced up at the anchors gathered in the square without leaving any trace, and they all put away the coupons as quickly as possible.

When this instance would progress to the later stage, it was very likely to develop into a vicious battle for coupons.

Moreover, in addition to this, this non-time-limited instance still had a hidden time limit.

That was “one day”.

Wen Jianyan did not forget that they had a ticket for a one-day tour of the amusement park. If the playing time exceeds 24 hours and the task of experiencing the five items has not been completed, it was obvious what might happen next.

Therefore, the main task of this instance should actually be: within one day, obtain enough survival time and coupons to experience five amusement park items.

While Wen Jianyan was pondering, Mr. Ribbit, not far away, continued to say:

“Everyone can take the notebook with them and record the happy time in the fantasy amusement park. Perhaps it will be helpful to everyone in the future!”

Wen Jianyan flipped through the play notebook.

It was blank with absolutely nothing inside.

Suddenly, Mr. Ribbit’s voice changed without warning. Although it was still the same voice, the tone became weird.

It was cold, sluggish, as straight as a machine, without any emotional fluctuations:

“And, most importantly, please read the park rules behind the map in time and keep them in mind at all times. You must not violate them.”

Wen Jianyan’s heart skipped a beat.

He took out the folded map and unfolded it.

The front of the map was what Mr. Ribbit just explained. The three theme parks were located in three directions within the amusement park. Colorful stick figures mark the items in each park. The winding roads connect them one by one, which look extraordinarily complex and wide.

Wen Jianyan turned the map to the back.

[Fantasy Amusement Park Rules]

Below was a line of small, blood-red words: For the safety of all tourists, please read these rules carefully and keep them in mind. Don’t violate them, or you will bear the consequences.

Rule 1: Please abide by the internal rules of each theme park, and everything shall be subject to the rules.

Rule 2: Please do not make noise in North Square.

Rule 3: There is no place for drinking water in this park. If someone sells you drinking water, please ignore them and leave. If you feel thirsty, please go to the food area in North Square and look for staff members in clown costumes.

………

There seems to be no internal connection between these rules, no obvious logic, and they were very strange to read, which made people feel inexplicably and strongly uncomfortable.

Wen Jianyan quickly scanned down.

His eyes fell on the last one, and his pupils shrank involuntarily.

Rule 13: Don’t trust frogs.

The author has something to say:

This instance will have some rule-based weird elements in it!

I’ve been wanting to try it before, but this time I finally had the opportunity to write it (house fly rubbing hands.jpg)

  1. Frogs? So, don’t trust the guide…

Okay, so either they *do* have more than a day, and in no moment did the announcer say anything reliable, OR those rules are all meant to be broken at some moment.

    1. Well, guide did say he is Rabbit and if they are to treat him as frog and not trust him then they can’t trust the rules he gave them and we get into vicious circle so… and one day limit is mentioned in task so it should be true, just hidden setting

  2. Thank you for the chapter! This time I read it late, sorry.

For now I just wonder how he will use those rules to screw with park attractions 😈

  3. I’m rereading and I’m telling you, this ARC is the scariest one for me and for our shameless liar. I still have psychological issue with this one XD
