Fantasy Amusement Fantasy
Chapter 80: Really horror appeared!

Under the dim light, Brother Fatty’s pale and swollen face was distorted in horror. Large pieces of transparent mucus flowed down his skin and fell to the ground. There were densely packed frog eggs crowded in the depths of the wound, reflecting a disgusting sticky sheen.

He lowered his head tremblingly, staring at the long strip of skin stuck to his nails, then slowly raised his hand and touched his cheek—

“Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhh!!”

A sharp scream erupted from the depths of Brother Fatty’s throat, and his face appeared particularly distorted under the intense fear. His trembling fingers touched the frog eggs on his face, and he kept making almost human-like crazy screams.

“Don’t panic.”

Yun Bilan’s expression was also very ugly.

“Wait a minute, this prop should work.”

She forced herself to be calm, took out her phone from her pocket, and opened her backpack.

Soon, a bottle of holy water appeared in her hand. This was a hidden item that Yun Bilan got from a level B instance. It could clear any negative states of the anchor, including infection.

Yun Bilan threw the holy water over and said, “Drink it.”

Brother Fatty seemed to have managed to regain some sanity. He reached out tremblingly, unscrewed the bottle, and gulped the holy water down his throat.

The prop was supposed to take effect immediately, instantly clearing the negative state of the anchor, but…

One second passed, five seconds passed, and twenty seconds passed.

Nothing happened.

Brother Fatty’s skin was still wet and swollen, and the frog eggs under his skin were wriggling, as if they were about to burst out in the next second.

“Wh-what’s going on?”

His eyes widened, his pupils dilated under intense fear, and the tone of his voice trembled and changed: “Why, why didn’t it work?”

“Why didn’t it work?!”

Brother Fatty screamed hysterically.

Yun Bilan’s face was pale, and her expression was shaken: “How come…”

Brother Fatty’s live broadcast room also exploded:

[F*ck, what’s going on?!]

[Isn’t this item able to purify negative effects? Why is it useless?!]

[Yeah, I remember that this prop was obtained from a level B insect egg instance! Holy water should be effective against this type of biological parasitism, right?]

[Upstairs, you’re watching the “Fantasy Amusement Park” instance for the first time, right? In this instance, all healing and purification props are useless. If it was just a simple parasitic organism, how could it possibly have wiped out so many waves of anchors, causing the system to shut this instance down because of the high mortality rate?]

[I was also shocked when I first watched this instance; it was really perverted.]

[F*ck… I probably understand why people always say that the high death rate of this instance has nothing to do with difficulty…]

While Yun Bilan was dealing with the parasitic eggs on Brother Fatty, Wen Jianyan stood a little far away, looking for something on the surrounding walls.

Finally, his eyes fell on the wall not far away, and his eyes paused.

There was a small red button with the words “Emergency button” written next to it in bold red font.

Wen Jianyan walked over.

He leaned over and turned on the flashlight to illuminate it.

The strong light penetrated the gray, transparent plastic shell outside the emergency button, and the red button seemed to be covered with a layer of sticky substance, reflecting a strange shimmer under the light of the flashlight.

Wen Jianyan lowered his eyes, showing a thoughtful expression.

He felt that he seemed to have touched on some of the main veins in this instance.

Yun Bilan turned her head and looked over. Her expression was agitated, and her lips were tightly pressed together: “How is it? Did you find anything?”

“Almost.”

Wen Jianyan replied ambiguously, turning sideways to let Yun Bilan look at the sticky substance on the emergency button.

“This is…?” Yun Bilan was taken aback.

“I don’t know,” Wen Jianyan shrugged and said succinctly, “Brother Fatty may have been infected through this.”

“…How could Brother Fatty be so careless?”

Yun Bilan frowned, her expression was a little ugly.

She and Brother Fatty had teamed up a lot. Although the other party’s level was slightly lower than hers, they had experienced several instances after all, so it stands to reason that they would not be caught by this kind of trap.

“When the two of us were trapped in the doll’s house before, didn’t you think that Brother Fatty’s voice sounded particularly strange?” Wen Jianyan said.

Yun Bilan was taken aback.

…Really.

At that time, even though she clearly proposed to use props to pull the two of them out, the other party still insisted on using the emergency button to call the staff, as if… he had lost his mind.

“Do you remember the last rule printed on the back of the map?” Wen Jianyan lowered his eyes and repeated in a low voice: “Don’t trust frogs.”

He turned his head to look at Yun Bilan and said softly:

“…Brother Fatty believed the frog.”

Yun Bilan understood what Wen Jianyan meant.

After a brief daze, a chill suddenly rose from her feet, making her hair stand on end.

Rules were useful.

And must be followed.

In the Fantasy Amusement Park, frogs must not be trusted.

But who was the frog?

Wen Jianyan rubbed the edge of the phone with his fingertips, his eyes downcast and lost in thought.

Judging from all the known conditions, all the “rules” he had encountered were temporarily true but changed with time.

After all, the haunted house became an unmanned ticket system after the real staff were replaced by frogs, and the emergency button should also have become uneffective after that, so the second rule printed on the ticket was derived from this.

This was actually the scariest thing.

No one was lying.

All rules were in place to ensure the safety of tourists.

If you want to survive in this fantasy amusement park, you must abide by the rules and believe in them.

According to the information disclosed in this instance, “belief” itself is the trigger point for death. If you believe in the wrong and distorted rules, even if you didn’t realize it yourself, when you encounter the decision point of life and death, even if you were very careful, you would still be manipulated by the instance to your death.

What was worse… the instance had only just begun.

All anchors knew that as time went by, the instance would only become more difficult, and no one knew what would happen next.

“Hehe…hehe…”

A strange and hoarse hehe sound came out of Brother Fatty’s trachea, which was particularly harsh in the dark and dead corridor.

He leaned on the wall and stood up slowly.

The eyes of Wen Jianyan and Yun Bilan were attracted.

“It’s itchy, it’s itchy.”

Brother Fatty murmured in a trance and slowly raised his head.

Under the slightly flickering light of the flashlight, his face was so swollen that his original facial features could not be distinguished at all. His whole face looked like a steamed bun soaked in water, with translucent jelly dripping down.

He raised his hand and desperately scratched his face and neck. With the sound of sizzling water, large pieces of skin were torn off, and under each piece of skin were more densely packed frog eggs. They were wriggling, and the small black dots on them looked like needle points, making them feel numb all over.

“Water…I want water…”

He looked around the corridor dully, stood up little by little with his greasy hands on the wall, and his whole body was like a balloon filled with liquid, shaking slowly.

The face covered with frog eggs looked toward the two people in front of him, and the eyeballs covered with transparent gel were filled with a kind of extremely terrifying madness.

Brother Fatty rushed over suddenly; his expression was twisted and terrifying, and his movements were astonishingly fast, as if he wanted to quench his thirst with their blood. His pale mouth, filled with blisters, was wide open, and the transparent frog eggs could be seen faintly in the granules of oral mucosa:

“Water, give me water!”

Wen Jianyan’s eyes froze: “Run!”

He was afraid this guy was already hopeless.

Under Wen Jianyan’s reminder, Yun Bilan recovered from her brief daze. She finally took a deep look at Brother Fatty, gritted her teeth hard, and turned to follow Wen Jianyan’s pace.

Both of them had good physical strength. Although Brother Fatty had amazing short-term explosive power, his body had been parasitized by the rapidly multiplying frog eggs after all. His body was collapsing every time he took a step, and soon he fell to the ground and didn’t move.

Wen Jianyan and Yun Bilan quickly ran down the second floor.

The other two were already waiting at the meeting point, standing in the lobby on the first floor.

Seeing Yun Bilan and Wen Jianyan, Elise’s eyes lit up, but she soon realized that the number was wrong and slowly frowned and asked:

“Where’s Brother Fatty?”

“……”

Yun Bilan’s expression darkened, and she shook her head slowly.

The air suddenly fell into a dead silence, and the atmosphere became heavy.

Yun Bilan took a deep breath and seemed to have regained her composure. She asked:

“Did you find the card?”

Another anchor, who called himself “Ball”, nodded and showed Yun Bilan the card in his palm: “We found it, What about you?”

“So do we.”

Yun Bilan nodded: “Let’s go downstairs and go to the last check-in point.”

The four of them walked forward along the path marked in the haunted house, pushing open a heavy iron gate. A steep tunnel leading down appeared in front of their eyes.

The air was murky and dusty, and the narrow passages smelled stale and damp.

The walls were covered with scarlet, splattered blood, a huge arrow pointing to the deepest part, and below it was a line of big words written in blood:

“Welcome to my cabin!”

Several people looked at each other.

Yun Bilan collected herself: “Let’s go.”

They cautiously walked down the stairs, step by step.

Soon, the stairs came to an end.

A dark and heavy iron door appeared in front of everyone. On the iron door were all kinds of broken doll limbs. Snow-white cotton overflowed from the broken stitches, and stiff smiles hung on the heads of each doll.

There was a blood-red poster on the wall with a horror font dedicated to haunted houses:

[Welcome everyone to Felix’s slaughterhouse. This is the place where he used to make his victims into dolls, where the cries of resentment can be heard late at night. It is said that their souls are still trapped in this small room, wandering in the place where they died forever.

If you want to escape from here, you have to go through this terrible place. Are you ready?]

On the poster was a doll stitched from residual limbs, with a line of crooked words written on the side:

[Stay here and play with me.]

This was the last stop of the whole haunted house.

Yun Bilan took a deep breath and slowly pushed the door open.

What appeared in front of them was a huge prison-like room with doll limbs hanging everywhere. The ground was covered with red and black dried blood and various killing props, including knives, scissors, saws, axes, and chains. Countless dolls in lace skirts sat on the shelves, each with the same stiff smile on their pale faces.

At the end of the prison was a tightly closed door.

There were three sockets on the door, and it was obvious that three cards needed to be inserted before the door could be opened.

However, unlike the previous dollhouses, there were no obvious card hints in this prison.

The four walked into the room.

“Why don’t we look separately—”

Before Elise finished speaking, the next second there was a loud “bang”, and the heavy iron door closed behind the four of them, making everyone couldn’t help but be a little shocked in their place.

What happened?

Was it another mechanism of the haunted house?

“Squeak—”

The ground trembled, and there was a harsh, ripped-off sound above their heads.

Everyone raised their heads in astonishment and subconsciously looked in the direction of the sound.

Only to see that the ceiling above their heads was slowly lifted by a huge hand, and then a fierce-looking face approached; his eyes were cloudy, and he laughed:

“Dolls, dolls.”

“!!!”

Wen Jianyan’s pupils shrank.

If the first two check-in points were fake horror scenes made with props and sound effects, then the third check-in point was definitely real horror!

The familiar mechanical sound of the system sounded in the ears of all four people at the same time: 【Ding, the conditions have been met, the hidden branch line is opening——】

***

“Hum… hum…”

A low, cheerful humming sound echoed in the darkness. The voice was rough, intermittent, and the humming was out of tune.

Wen Jianyan’s eyelids moved, and he slowly opened his eyes.

It was dark.

This… where…?

He frowned, there was some soft cloth covering his skin, and with his movements, the slightly rough texture brought uncomfortable friction.

Wen Jianyan turned his head and looked to the side. Dolls in gorgeous clothes were sitting next to him, clinging closely to him. Each of them was the same size as a human, and their pale faces had exaggerated and bright smiles. Their eyes made of glass beads fixedly stare at the distance.

“Hum… hum…”

The sound of humming became clear and audible, appearing particularly permeable in the dark room.

Wen Jianyan looked in the direction of the voice.

A tall and fat man with his back facing him, sitting cross-legged on the ground, had his head lowered, and he carefully sharpened the knife in his hand.

“Scratch.”

The scalp-numbing sound of metal scraping sounded, echoing in the terrifying room filled with the smell of blood.

This should be that Felix.

A murderer who turned his victims into dolls.

But… Wen Jianyan felt something was wrong.

Everything around me has a subtle sense of disobedience.

The other party’s back was a bit too tall, and even the entire prison room was enlarged in proportion, which seemed like…

Wen Jianyan’s eyes widened slightly, and he suddenly looked down at himself—

Wait.

Lace, a lace dress?

Wen Jianyan’s pupils trembled.

? ? ?

He was turned into a doll?!

  1. Usually I like frogs, not this time. The ending is unexpected crossdressing, just waiting for hubby’s reaction.

    Thank you for the chapter!
