Fantasy Amusement Park
Chapter 77: “Didn’t you read the rules of the thriller zone?”

The thriller zone was located on the west side of the park.

After passing through neatly trimmed bushes, the gate of the thriller zone could be seen.

Different from the childlike style outside the Fantasy Amusement Park, the gate here was a mature iron structure. The two words “Thriller Zone” hang high, and there was a big clown head next to it, with green hair, a red nose, and a big smile on its face, looking very funny.

Unlike the noisy crowds in the other two zones, this zone seemed extraordinarily quiet and deserted, with only cheerful music still echoing in the air.

Wen Jianyan stepped forward.

The clown dancing at the gate of the park jumped over: “Welcome to the thriller zone! All the visitors entering the park, please read the rules of this area carefully!”

It pointed to the notice of rules posted at the gate of the park and then bounced off to the side to run away.

Wen Jianyan walked in the direction pointed out by the clown.

[Thriller Zone Park Rules]

Visitors are welcome to the thriller zone. You should be looking forward to starting your own exciting journey here! In order to allow you to enjoy the services in the park while ensuring your safety, please read carefully and keep the following rules in mind:

1. Some amusement facilities in this zone have age and height restrictions. Please read carefully to ensure that you meet the requirements before entering!

2. After the project starts, follow-up tourists should wait until the previous round is over before proceeding to play. Please maintain discipline and do not jump in line. If you are rejected by the staff, please queue up again.

3. All facilities in this park need to be entered in teams. If you want to play the big pendulum or roller coaster, please confirm that your team has more than four but not exactly six people. If you want to experience the haunted house project, please confirm that your teammates are more than five.

4. The clown is completely trustworthy, and the suggestions of the clown staff are 100% friendly. Please follow the advice of the clown staff as well as all our requirements!

5. The pirate ship attraction is damaged; please do not approach it.

6. There are no real people playing NPCs in the haunted house. There are just sounds, lightning, and dolls. There are no water-related mechanisms involved in any scenario. If you hear the sound of water, please stay away from the area immediately and get in touch with the green-haired clown staff as soon as possible.

7. The theme roller coaster consists of three tunnels and fifteen turns. When passing through the tunnels, please don’t open your eyes and look around, don’t count the turns in your heart, and don’t look back.

8. When riding the big pendulum, don’t enter the restricted area, and don’t approach the seat with the Mr. Ribbit logo.

9. For the sake of your life safety, please don’t play more than two consecutive activities in the thriller zone area. Quickly leave the park and go to the food area for consumption!

10.■■■■■■■■■■

I hope you can have fun in the thriller zone!

The first rule was the same as the fifth rule of the general rules, but the last rule was completely blacked out, and it was completely impossible to see what was written on it.

How should he put it…

Wen Jianyan looked at the rule that was exuding a weird atmosphere, and he felt his back turn somewhat cold.

No matter whether Mr. Ribit was lying or not, there was no normal place in this fantasy amusement park… All these park items were really weird, and no matter which one he went up first, the possibility of death shouldn’t be low.

He took a deep breath and walked toward the thriller zone.

Before Wen Jianyan had gone a few steps, he heard a surprised voice not far from himself.

“I didn’t expect that there would actually be a bold anchor who is willing to go to the thriller zone.”

Wen Jianyan turned her head and looked in the direction of the voice.

He saw a team of four standing not far from the gate. The leader was a girl with blue hair and round eyes. She looked curiously at Wen Jianyan, who was standing at the gate of the thriller park.

She held out her hand: “You can call me Yun Bilan, a B+ level anchor.”

In these high-difficulty multiplayer instances, many anchors were reluctant to reveal their real names and often used code names to refer to themselves.

Wen Jianyan stretched out his hand in a kind manner: “Pinocchio, C+ level anchor.”

In the “Integrity first” live broadcast room:

[???]

[Pinocchio? The one whose nose grows longer when he lies? ]

[And aren’t you level D! Do you have no shame?]

[He can even upgrade his level without changing his expression. Worthy of being called a dog liar!]

Yun Bilan blinked her round eyes: “Are you alone? “

Wen Jianyan shrugged: “There is no other way. I’m a free anchor, and I am used to fighting alone.”

“You are very courageous if you come to the thriller zone by yourself.” Yun Bilan smiled: “Why, didn’t this zone’s rule scare you?”

“Of course they did.” Wen Jianyan also bent his eyes: “But there is no other option. There are too many people in other zones.”

If someone was reluctant to go to a place with many people, there were two possibilities.

Either they were worried about encountering enemies or they liked to take risks.

The first type could be manipulated and utilized, and the second type could be used for win-win cooperation.

Ever since he learned that the projects in the thriller zone required multiple people to enter, Wen Jianyan realized that he had to find a way to find a team to join in, and then he had to show the benefits of cooperating with him.

Sure enough, after hearing Wen Jianyan’s answer, the smile on Yun Bilan’s face was a little more real than before.

“What about you?” Wen Jianyan asked back.

“Well, of course, we came here for the props.” Yun Bilan confessed her intentions without hesitation: “The level of hidden items in this instance is very high, so the probability of them appearing in the danger zone is even greater.”

Obviously, this team was also here to find props just like him, and they were very confident in their own strengths, so much so that they didn’t even hide their intentions.

Of course, this also had something to do with Wen Jianyan’s low threat level.

C level anchos who acted alone were generally not very strong.

“What about you? Which item are you going to play next?”

Wen Jianyan already had the answer in his mind when he just read the rules: “Roller coaster or big pendulum.”

The taboos for these two rides were very clear, and the maps were relatively simple and limited. These two projects were obviously safer than the overly free and empty scene of the haunted house.

His thoughts obviously coincided with the other party’s. The blue-haired girl smiled and extended an olive branch to Wen Jianyan first: “Coincidentally, we think the same way.”

“How about forming a team with us?”

The team that entered the instance usually contains two to four people, but if they want to play the roller coaster or the big pendulum, the number of people must be greater than four and not exactly six, that is to say, there must be a combination between the two teams.

Yun Bilan’s team had four people; that is to say, they couldn’t combine with a two-person team. However, if they find other three-person or four-person teams to cooperate with, their numerical advantage would be lost. If they really found hidden items inside, it was difficult to guarantee a steady win in the event of a conflict.

And Wen Jianyan’s arrival just solved their urgent need, so Yun Bilan took the initiative to talk to him at the beginning.

“Of course.” Wen Jianyan didn’t have any reason to refuse and agreed very simply and neatly.

The cooperation was reached very smoothly, and both parties were very happy.

Yun Bilan, who had been in the thriller zone for a relatively long time, said: “There are two teams of anchors who have just entered the pendulum, and they haven’t appeared yet. Why don’t we go to the roller coaster to try it first?”

Wen Jianyan nodded: “Okay.”

The group of people walked toward the direction of the roller coaster.

A green-haired clown was standing at the ticket office at the entrance. Seeing tourists coming, he danced and said, “Welcome everyone to the Fantasy Amusement Park to experience our themed roller coaster project!”

It pointed to the sign on the side: “The ticket price is ten coupons!”

Yun Bilan: “Let’s buy five tickets.”

Several people took out the coupons one after another, ready to pay the bill.

The clown asked: “Are you all together?”

“Yes.”

The clown shook his head: “Didn’t you read the rules of the amusement park’s thriller zone carefully?”

It covered its mouth with its white-gloved hand and pointed with the other hand in the air to count:

“1, 2, 3, 4, 5…”

The clown pointed at everyone’s body and finally pointed at the open space on the side with a grin: “6.”

It clapped its hands happily:

“When the number of people is equal to six, you cannot enter the roller coaster!”

At that moment, a layer of cold sweat broke out on everyone’s back.

Yun Bilan was a team of four, and Wen Jianyan was only one person. Their team should only have five people! How could there be a sixth person?!

The sixth person who appeared out of nowhere… Who was it?

At this time, another team came over. They had just finished forming a team, and they were obviously planning to ride the roller coaster.

The clown jumped up:

“Welcome everyone to the Fantasy Amusement Park to experience our themed roller coaster project! A ticket costs ten coupons!”

“Seven.”

“Okay, have a good time!”

The team, composed of two teams of four and three people, successfully purchased the tickets and entered the roller coaster.

The roller coaster project started.

The clown smiled and looked at Wen Jianyan and the other five: “Please wait patiently!”

Now, there were only two options left for their team.

First, wait obediently for this round of the roller coaster or the big pendulum to end before entering.

However, not only was this a waste of time, but the chances of getting the hidden items first would also be greatly reduced.

The second thing…

Everyone turned their heads in unison, subconsciously looking toward the corner of the thriller zone.

“……”

The tall and gloomy mansion, with scary ghosts and skeleton signs outside and a promotional slogan written in horrifying fonts next to it——

Fantasy Amusement Park’s featured project, to give you an unparalleled horror experience.
Welcome to the theme-based Haunted House!

——No matter what instance it was, this was definitely the project that all anchors were least willing to try.

Not to mention that there was this unknown “sixth man” in their team.

Yun Bilan’s face was a little ugly:

“… Damn, we are too unlucky this time.”

Originally, she planned to try the big pendulum or roller coaster first, feel the rules, and then activate the hand of guidance, so that even if the items were in the haunted house, they would not enter without any preparation.

But she didn’t expect it to backfire.

In the “Integrity First” live broadcast room:

[Wait, this luck value is really familiar…]

[Indeed…]

[Why do I feel like I know where the problem is?]

Wen Jianyan: “……”

He silently looked away.

Sigh.

The author has something to say:

As a real warrior, the first thing to experience in an amusement park must be a haunted house! (In an excited voice by an unknown haunted house lover, Sang Wo——)
