Description:

He Jiayin transmigrated right in the middle of playing a TRPG (Tabletop Role-Playing Game) with his friends. He became Siles Noel, a professor of Literary History at Lamifa University. At the same time, the city of Lamifa was in an uproar over the jailbreak of an apostate…

…Wait a minute, isn’t this the story of the TRPG he was playing?

But he was the Game Master (Host), not a player?!

He Jiayin became the Keeper of this world.

A student’s exam paper unfolds before him: [Professor, please roll the dice to determine if this student passes.]

A colleague’s thesis is handed to him for review: [Professor, please roll the dice to determine if this paper makes it into the journal.]

The apostate is fleeing pursuit: [Professor, please roll the dice to determine if the church’s pursuers can spot him.]

A Beyonder is advancing in rank: [Professor, the dice are ready.]

A man is confessing his love to him: [Here are the dice.]

He Jiayin: “…”

[You have gazed upon a god.]

[You will undergo a Willpower check.]

[99/100]

[Pitiful you are destined for a Critical Failure.]

[…You cast an obsessed and fanatical gaze upon the god.]

[You shall become the god’s first follower. You will follow the great God of Time and Fate—the Keeper of the World, Siles Noel—and step into a brand new world together.]

[…By the way, you should confess your love first.]

——Left by the Keeper’s Dice.

Reading Guide:

1. Aloof, taciturn, and stoic Top vs. Outwardly arrogant and flamboyant but inwardly submissive and obsessive Bottom (Uke).
2. “Pao Tuan” (Tabletop Role-Playing Game/TRPG): A genre of game where dice determine the development of the game. Players possess character sheets, and the attributes on these sheets combined with dice values determine the outcome of checks/judgments. The Game Master (Host) is the storyteller and also the one who rolls the dice.
