Summary:

Three years ago, Ji Xun was investigated as a suspect in a murder case. Although he was later acquitted and released, he still resigned from the police force.
He told only one small lie, and no one ever discovered it.
That is, until three years later, when Huo Ranyin, the newly transferred captain of Ning City’s second criminal investigation detachment, opens the case file…

Let your lie be even more logical than truth itself,
So that the weary traveler may find rest in the lie.

• CP: Ji Xun (gong/top) × Huo Ranyin (shou/bottom)
• A top whose words are hard to distinguish from truth and lies and who solves cases by intuition vs. a bottom who pretends to be serious but is secretly passionate and a stickler for details.
• The CP has a love-hate relationship (love and kill each other).
