SB Ch166: Shen Ti goes to school [Extra]

Chapter 166: “I’m not lying to you, I really am his boyfriend!”

In just a few short days of vacation, Shen Ti managed to get along with An Wujiu’s family. At An Wujiu’s request, Shen Ti showed his parents and younger sister the memories they had in the Altar.

Of course, he deleted some indescribable parts.

With these memories, An Wujiu’s parents better understood why their son was so persistent and why no one could replace Shen Ti.

After the memories were transferred, An Wujiu’s father was silent for a long time, while An Congnan shed tears. Just glimpsing their previous efforts through these past memories was enough to evoke sighs, especially as parents, feeling heartache for the child from that time.

The child who had fallen into hell since the age of ten had also fought against his fate time and time again, for the sake of everyone.

With those experiences and memories, he was complete.

Shen Ti also deleted everything about Lilith. That shouldn’t belong to Shen Nan, nor did she need to know about it. She just needed to be a carefree little girl loved by her family, growing up happily.

After the vacation, An Wujiu returned to school, and Shen Ti wanted to sneak into his room at night like he did at home, but An Wujiu stopped him, saying there were four people in the dormitory.

“If you do that, you’ll scare others, just like before, when there were ghost stories everywhere.” An Wujiu said seriously, “Or they’ll think you’re a pervert.”

Shen Ti had no choice but to listen to him.

He didn’t lack a place to sleep or money, but the past twenty years had been too long for him. Now, all Shen Ti wanted to do was stick to An Wujiu all day long.

But after really coming, he found that An Wujiu also had his own things to do.

Shen Ti even thought, maybe he should apply to the university too, just apply to the same university as An Wujiu.

“Huh?” Zhong Yirou said while fiddling with her prosthetic during their video call, “But our school is annoying, the dorms for upper and lower grades are very far apart, are you sure you want to come? Also, our school is super strict, the homework is a lot.”

Shen Ti temporarily put aside this idea.

No matter what, he had to go see An Wujiu.

As he thought, Shen Ti first went to An Wujiu’s house, delivering breakfast to his parents before they went to work.

“Perfect timing, Xiao Shen,” An Congnan said when she heard he was going to school, taking out the lemon meringue tart she made herself and handing it to Shen Ti, “Give this to An An, okay? You two can eat it together.”

Shen Ti nodded, took the dessert, and went to An Wujiu’s school.

He had already heard from Zhong Yirou that the school gate required iris verification, so he directly took a shortcut and flashed into the woods inside the school.

Luckily, early in the morning, there weren’t even any students jogging here, otherwise, seeing him would probably be like seeing a ghost.

With a lollipop in his mouth, Shen Ti looked around and started searching for An Wujiu’s dormitory.

There were no signposts directly pointing the way here. Shen Ti walked to the cafeteria entrance, saw many students, and stepped forward to inquire.

The boy he asked widened his eyes when he saw Shen Ti, hurriedly took the toast out of his mouth, and said, “S-student dormitory? Which department’s dormitory are you looking for?”

“The Life Sciences Department.” Shen Ti replied with a smile.

“Ah, let me think…”

The other person was still thinking, and Shen Ti casually glanced elsewhere, unexpectedly seeing a pervert!

The man didn’t look like a student, at least thirty years old, standing in line closely sticking to a girl, constantly rubbing against her and looking around guiltily, holding something in his hand, probably trying to take a photo.

Shen Ti saw this through the cafeteria wall, so he couldn’t explain to the boy in front of him and directly patted his shoulder, “Thank you, classmate.”

With a lollipop in his mouth and a cold expression, he walked towards the scene.

“But I haven’t told you where it is…” The student turned around scratching his head, not knowing what was going on with this handsome guy.

Shen Ti was quite speechless; on the way over, no one caught the pervert.

Originally, Shen Ti wasn’t the type to act righteously. In the past, even if he encountered murder in the Altar, he wouldn’t be moved. He couldn’t empathize with humans, having a natural barrier.

But now he was completely different. Although he couldn’t empathize with most humans, he was very disgusted by scumbags.

Or rather, he was influenced by An Wujiu’s strong sense of morality.

All these reasons made Shen Ti decide to act immediately. He strode over, standing behind the pervert, his tall figure casting a shadow completely covering the guy. Feeling the terrifying pressure, the pervert withdrew his hand.

“Hey.”

The man in front was so scared that his shoulders trembled and he turned around pretending to know nothing.

Shen Ti sneered disdainfully, “Uncle, what are you holding in your hand?”

As he spoke, he directly grabbed the man’s wrist and twisted it hard towards himself.

The other person cried out in pain, “What are you doing! Who do you think you are!”

“Who I am isn’t important.” Shen Ti smiled slyly, increasing the pressure on his hand. “But you’re not human.”

More onlookers gathered, but the pervert refused to admit anything. “Are you crazy? Assaulting me early in the morning! Call the police!”

Shen Ti glanced at the corner of the ceiling; there were cameras. He suddenly understood: this guy dared to act so brazenly because he knew there was a problem with the surveillance, or he wasn’t afraid of someone checking it.

“Calling the police is too troublesome; just trash collection will do.” Shen Ti laughed, grabbing his hand like a chick and pulling him out of the line, planning to drag him to a less crowded place for a beating.

But the man kept screaming, and as soon as they left the cafeteria, it attracted the attention of the school security.

Not knowing what was happening, the security asked on the spot, “What are you doing?”

Shen Ti hesitated for a moment, deciding not to directly mention the harassment in front of so many people, especially with the victimized girl still there.

So he didn’t specify the reason, only saying, “I want to see your supervisor, I’ll explain to them.”

The security, seeing his height and not wanting trouble, decided to take both Shen Ti and the middle-aged man to the security office on grounds of disturbing the peace.

On the way to the office, the man kept struggling, trying to escape, but Shen Ti’s grip was terrifyingly strong, tighter than handcuffs, like a vise.

In the security office, a white man around forty sat in the large office at the back, filled with monitors showing various corners of the campus.

“What’s going on?” The security chief stood up, glanced at Shen Ti, and then at the middle-aged man. “Why were you fighting in the cafeteria?”

“He was sexually harassing a girl, and I caught him in the act,” Shen Ti said directly. “Is there a problem with the cafeteria surveillance? This pervert seems to know something, could he be one of your own?”

The security chief frowned, staring at the pervert, who immediately denied everything, claiming Shen Ti was framing him.

“I don’t know why this student is slandering me!”

Another guard checked the surveillance and found there was indeed an issue with the cafeteria cameras.

“Let’s call the police first. If it is sexual harassment, it needs to be handled by the authorities,” the security chief ordered, then turned to Shen Ti, frowning. “You don’t seem to be a student here.”

Shen Ti reacted immediately.

This guy’s eyes were too sharp.

“I am a student here.” Shen Ti lied smoothly. “I’m from the medical school.”

The security chief asked immediately, “What’s your major?”

“Psychiatry.” Shen Ti bluffed, not expecting to get it right. The university did have such a major.

But the security chief still wasn’t convinced. Their job was to recognize faces, and he had no memory of a face like Shen Ti’s, which was a huge question mark on their professionalism.

“Our school doesn’t allow outsiders in, you know that, right?” He pulled up the identification system.

“I know.” Shen Ti suddenly noticed an infrared scan, instinctively raising his head, accidentally getting scanned.

The system reported—”No relevant files found.”

The security chief looked up with a smug expression and said, “I knew it.”

Shen Ti sighed, “Alright, actually, I’m here to find someone.”

“Who?”

“My boyfriend.” Shen Ti gave his name and department. “You can check if he exists.”

The security chief checked, and indeed, there was such a person, and he recognized the face from the file.

But he couldn’t fully trust Shen Ti.

“How do I know you actually know him and aren’t lying?”

Shen Ti was speechless, “So what now? I really am his boyfriend.”

·

An Wujiu arrived at the classroom early, meeting Morris on the way, who mentioned a fight in the cafeteria but didn’t think much of it.

Morris exaggerated, “They say the guy fighting is super handsome, tall, and good-looking!”

“Really?” An Wujiu smiled cooperatively and said, “I’m not that interested in handsome guys.”

Morris shook her head, “Right, you’re one yourself.”

That wasn’t the reason, but An Wujiu found explanations troublesome and didn’t bother.

After one class, the teacher went to the vending machine for coffee during the break, and the other students gathered to chat.

“Have you heard? There was a pervert in the cafeteria who got caught today?”

“Is it about the fight?”

“Yes, exactly. My friend was there. Later, the girl involved posted on social media expressing her gratitude.”

“Wow, a handsome guy with a kind heart. There aren’t many people who act so bravely these days.”

An Wujiu listened while looking through some materials, not feeling curious at all.

After all, he couldn’t associate the term “bravery” with Shen Ti.

Until the classroom’s projection screen lit up.

“Remember, what you’re saying is being projected on screens throughout the entire school, so don’t lie.”

The students around started discussing even more.

“Isn’t that the handsome guy?”

The noise was so loud that An Wujiu couldn’t help but look up. With just a glance, his mind went blank.

The person on the screen was none other than Shen Ti.

It really was him.

Shen Ti looked somewhat indifferent, with a hint of impatience in his expression.

“I’m not lying. I’ll say it again: I’m here to find someone.”

The security chief asked from behind the screen, “Who are you looking for, from which department, and what’s your purpose? Be clear about it.”

Shen Ti sighed and repeated helplessly, “I’m looking for Shen An from the Life Sciences Department. I’m here to bring him the meringue tart his mother made.”

As he spoke, he raised the food bag in his hand. The bag had strawberries and bunnies drawn on it, which looked very mismatched with his image. “What? Is there a school rule that says boyfriends can’t come to visit?”

After he said this, the entire classroom turned around and looked at An Wujiu in shock.

“Shen An?”

“Boyfriend??!”

An Wujiu’s pen fell to the ground with a snap, and his first reaction was to bend down to pick it up.

What is this…

During this process, he could still hear Shen Ti’s helpless voice.

“No, I’m not lying. I really am his boyfriend. What’s there to lie about? At worst, you can add me to the database as an off-record student, okay?”

“Then wait for him to come over.” The security chief began to call out, “Shen An from the Life Sciences Department, please come to the security office.”

An Wujiu picked up his pen and stood up, looking relatively calm, though his reddened ears couldn’t be completely hidden.

He got up from his seat and noticed even the teacher was standing by the door with a coffee, watching the scene.

“I’ll go there,” An Wujiu said softly and quickly left the classroom.

The uproar behind him couldn’t be stopped. An Wujiu was afraid Shen Ti would be questioned for too long, so he started running.

When he reached the office, he saw Shen Ti playing chess with a security guard.

Breathing slightly heavily, he leaned against the door frame and looked at Shen Ti with a bit of exasperation. “You’re here.”

Upon hearing his voice, Shen Ti immediately looked up, walked over, and kissed An Wujiu on the face and lips, ignoring the others in the room. He then hugged him and looked back at the security chief as if to say, “See, I wasn’t lying.”

An Wujiu felt a bit embarrassed and pushed Shen Ti away slightly. “Sorry for the trouble.”

“It’s no trouble at all!” The guard playing chess with Shen Ti smiled. “Actually, your boyfriend helped a female student. It’s just that a lot has been happening at school lately, so we need to be careful.”

“Thank you. I’ll take him away now.” An Wujiu nodded and was about to pull Shen Ti away when the security chief called out.

“Hey, student, don’t forget your meringue tart.”

“Thank you.” An Wujiu took the tart, planning to share it with his classmates.

“Are you going back to class?” Shen Ti asked, somewhat disappointed. Then he suggested, “Can I sit in on your class?”

An Wujiu found it both funny and frustrating. “You want to sit in on the class? You said you were just here to bring some food, and now you’ve broadcasted it to the entire school?”

Shen Ti blinked, looking a bit innocent.

“I didn’t know. That’s why I said I don’t like to help.”

An Wujiu couldn’t help but laugh. “You did the right thing by helping. I’m happy, just that the process was a bit too dramatic.”

He raised his hand to touch Shen Ti’s cheek and couldn’t help but kiss him again.

“Missed me that much?”

“Do I need to say it?” Shen Ti pouted. “I told you to move in with me.”

An Wujiu teased him deliberately, turning around and walking back to the classroom. “I’ll think about it.”

Shen Ti quickly caught up with him. “Think about it? The whole school knows I’m your boyfriend now.”

“Yeah, yeah, you’re amazing.” An Wujiu smiled helplessly. “Every time, you come out automatically. The whole world might as well know.”

That day, social media was flooded with rumors about the university heartthrob and the mysterious handsome guy’s romance.

A photo of the handsome guy sleeping in the back row of the classroom was also wildly shared.

The meringue tart that An Wujiu kindly distributed was uploaded and took on a different meaning.

[Oh my god, I received their wedding sweets!]

Zhong Yirou, resting in the dorm, rushed over to An Wujiu after seeing the posts.

“Where’s my wedding sweet? Am I not the bridesmaid?”

An Wujiu found it all very absurd, looking back at Shen Ti, who was sleeping like a child.

Well, after all, he isn’t human.
